Not a Bot

About Not a Bot

Hide in a crowd of robots and act like one, or play the Inspector and zap the humans. Copy the crowd, fake the CAPTCHA, walk out the gate unseen.

How to play

Play as the Human: you look exactly like every bot in the plaza. Do your tasks, then walk out an EXIT gate. When a CAPTCHA pops up, every bot does the same move at once, so hit it fast. Late, wrong or odd moves raise the Inspector's suspicion. Stay out of its vision cone when you slip. Play as the Inspector: watch the crowd for the late, the wrong and the weird, then zap. You have 3 zaps, and zapping a bot wastes one. Scan briefly shows who slipped nearby. Online, one player is the Inspector and the rest hide.

Controls

• Move: drag left side or WASD, Shift to run
• CAPTCHA moves: buttons or keys 1 to 4
• Human: hold button, E or Space at a task
• Inspector: tap or click a suspect to zap, Q to scan
